Disappear

Don’t know how to discern,
Emotions raging within.
Sanity is overwhelmed.
Consciousness is questioned.

To speak of words uncertain,
Would be devastating.
If divulged early,
Both of us will pay.

Clues linger,
Further confusing intellect.
Testing limits,
With each appearance.

Loss of image might help,
To clarify questions,
Justify testimonies,
Remove doubts.

Could you disappear for a while?
Retreat, so I may be certain.
Let my empathy drive me,
To your presence once more.
