Swift and elusive,
It glides through space.
Cutting breath,
With boldness.
Punishing the innocent,
As well as the guilty.
Through forces spawning,
From the hands of a rogue,
It will come to taste death.
Tainting its shimmer,
With the draining of a life,
A fleeting of a soul.
But it remains unnoticed.
That as victim pleas,
It sheds the same sorrow.
Blood and tears will soon rust,
The will beneath the steel,
For sympathy can’t last within.
